His passion for sculpting revived in 2002, after his father has been struck by an illness. He also had to handle Forest Gallery. A large number of Jan Graczyk`s sculptures had to be repaired and preserved. Unfortunately, several valuable works of art has fallen into pieces and only remains of them still exist. After his father had died, Jerzy had an insight into his individual way of expressing himself in arts, concerning both painting and sculpting. The compositions created consist mainly of fragments of sculptures and sandblasted wood, all coated with oil paints. Stimulating the viewer`s imagination, those magnum opus works are catching even fastidious critics` eye. The nature has also a significant influence on the final shape of the works. The form of the wood depends on the nature and cannot be destroyed, what provokes the artist to show his fertile imagination.
Jerzy Graczyk`s works of arts were exhibited in National Library this year. Nowadays, Jerzy operates Forest Gallery with his son`s assistance. Although it is mainly the gallery of Jerzy Graczyk`s and his father`s marvels, the other artists` works of art are available.
