Drawings

Beata Zaczek's first contact with art was natural. As she explains, she drew since she was a child. There was no need for extra encouragement.

After finishing elementary school, Zaczek attended a secondary school in Naleczow. She started drawing caricatures due to the encouragement of her friends.
While studying ethnography and art history at the University of Warsaw, she made a living by selling caricatures and satirical drawings, which could be purchased at Barbakan. Between 1994 and 1999 she worked for Super Expres. Then, she cooperated with such newspapers and magazines as Twoj Styl, Nie, Tele-tydzien, Tina, Zycie na goraco, Twoje Imperium, Rzeczpospolita and Playboy. She states that her inspiration is Andrzej Mleczko.

Beata Zaczek is also a fashion designer. One of her fashion collections were presented at the City of Women Festival in 2002.

What is interesting is that she is an author of the hauberk of Tomasz Budzynski. Moreover, she created the stage design of the Jarocin Festival in 1993.
